hello eveyone!
welcome to the followers i got while i was gone for the last (almost) 2 weeks. sorry i haven’t been around, just dealing with boring life stuff that nobody really wants to hear about and having the internet randomly go on and off. you know. the usual.
just to let everybody know, i’m not accepting commissions right now and i haven’t for a while because my life is kind of a crazy blizzard what with day job/ looking for art jobs/ working on projects/ and preparing for cons. i’ll do a big ol’ post with prices and stuff when i decide to start them up again.
speaking of cons i will be at the Myrtle Beach X-Con the 18th through 20th selling prints and things so if any of you live in the area, stop by and see me! i will be the girl who looks like she’s trying to turn invisible by sheer force of will. i’m also still hoping for a shot at that AWA table so i’m working on designs for the contest and trying to get an etsy started. so, yeah! busy! and hopefully i can get the ball rolling on this stuff before the summer rush starts at work and i don’t have the time to touch a pencil :c
also speaking of things that have nothing to do with cons, my friends and i will be heading to Atlanta on monday for a very tiny vacation because i have started to hate my job and i feel like if i don’t get out of town for a minute before the tourists come and i can never stop working i will completely die inside. there will be no posts during this time because Beluga Whales and Cheesecake Factory.
now if you’ll excuse me, i have to sew up a hole in my corset so i’ll be ready to go at the buttcrack of dawn so i can help run the our table at the Imagination Library event for work. Gonna be a wizard all though free comic book day :c . hopefully i can swoop in like a nerdy vulture when i get off of work and grab some scraps.

Do you apply for concept artist/illustration jobs? It blows my mind that you’d be unable to find one, so I’m wondering if it’s like family stuff that keeps you tied to where you are and you can’t move for another job or something maybe?
