hey just so y’all know, i have 4 commission spot tiers currently open over on patreon.
just sayin’.
designed a Pugmire oc named Lillia for Liz Gist’s wife for their monthly patron pic. she cute.
design/fashion patreon sketch commissions for Laurel Kona Hart of their Invisible
Sun fae character, Sound of Bells! included here is a general look, some sleepwear, a dramatic opera outfit, and a surprise summer look that they let me design prompt free. i had a lot of neat design prompts to work with, notably costumes from the “Shades of White” ballet , inhuman coldness, bells, cages, and wisteria/sunset inspired color pallets.
Design Notes:
i’m a big fan of using different materials as a hair substitute with my own characters so I thought it would be cool to style their headwrap different ways for different occasions. for example, that sleek summer fit uses the headwrap as both sweeping locks and a slinky cape.
the sheer fabric on the opera fit isn’t actually fabric, it’s a sort of feather-light expertly crafted crystal. fancy acoustics for the bells and if they need to get everyone’s attention they can tap on the crystal with their opera glasses to create a lovely (but slightly eerie) chiming sound.
the sleep outfit can be worn two ways. the way you see here, and if you lift the fur skirt up to your shoulders you can wear it like a hooded fur cloak. imagine the dramatic reveal of walking into a room in a twilight colored fur and dropping it to reveal the sheer skirt and Dramatic Sleeves. also any of those indigo pearls on their sleeves can turn into a small floating lamp if need be.
thanks again for letting me play with your character!
commissions for @pehzuzu of local fashion cat, Leslie Dickerds. two pics this time, a Rocky Horror inspired fit and a high class dnd look.
love to draw a sassy femme cat.
fashion commission for @pehzuzu of their forest dwelling bun mom, Bonnie!
first outfit is for baking and generally chillin’ at home, second outfit is for bundling up on snowy days, and the last outfit (with two different color pallets) are for going to the market for trading and chatting with neighbors.
just patterns and cute aprons as far as the eye can see.
are y’all ready for Endless Shrimp?
@deadwooddross commissioned me to do a little spec design work on their wonderful shramp aliens and here are the results.
up top is the
first shrimp sketch i really liked. the design was already pretty solid
so i worked on making dexterous but inhuman hands(?), and sketch
possible teeth stuff. also gave them plush pawpad feet because that’s
cute. also? whiskers.
next are two of the color/pattern possibilities i came up with complete with a
side view of possible hidden mouth under their little mask faces.
finally,
i was also asked to speculate on shramp fashion
but i don’t know the intricate deets of their culture so i mainly tried to
figure out how clothes work and came up with practical looks such as:
fancy goth, comfy trip to the grocery store at 2am, casual springtime,
and Cool Shrimp.
figuring out the iffy line between shirt and pants was interesting! also playing with piercings and Making A Hat Work made this a real fun commish.
a Blin for this month’s $25 tier patron, @monarobot! love to draw goblins for money. excellent commission choice.
special friendship commission from @raphcrow to @asuradical of the delightful Treasurer Qsu all body-horrored up. so glad my commissioners have enough faith in me to just hand me their babies and go ‘just fuck me up’.
a commission of a fashionable bookworm darling for @somefriendlyadvice. always on board to draw a creeping hair tendril.
commission of
Adelinde
transforming into her charming boar form for @duckatrice. a very good vampire, would join her dark crusade.
a fancy-dancey space elf commission for @nightmareperiwinkle.
commission of a tiny dreameater for @forestwanders. that bee looks how i felt about getting to draw that bee.
commission for a partially transformed dragon Val for @prinxvariety. A+ pastel fancy lizard.
commissioned bust sketch for @thesammonster. i appreciate anyone who’s commission specs include a mini shark.
a past commission of Robyn for @livelaughlovekill. a very good sunset lizard.
